Facilities and Equipment
Dr. Beadnell and her staff utilize the latest in technology to enhance the quality and fit for your dental care.
Digital imaging enables us to see beyond what can generally be detected during a visual exam, allowing us to identify cavities in between your teeth, determine bone level, and analyze the health of your bone. Dr. Beadnell can also examine the roots and nerves of teeth, diagnose lesions such as cysts or tumors, and assess damage when trauma occurs.
Timing of x-rays is tailored specifically to each patient’s needs. With digital imaging, exposure time is about 50% less when compared to traditional methods. Digital imaging also provides patient images that can be quickly and easily transferred to specialists or insurance companies.
Dr. Beadnell utilizes intraoral camera technology to enhance your understanding of your dental needs. An intraoral camera is a very small camera – in some cases, just a few millimeters long – that enables clear, precise images of your mouth, teeth and gums for a more accurate diagnosis.
With clear, defined, enlarged images, you see details that may be missed by standard mirror examinations. Intraoral cameras also enable our practice to save your images in our office computer to provide a permanent record of treatments. These images can be printed for you, other specialists, and your lab or insurance companies.
Beadnell Family Dentistry is open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM, and Tuesday from 9:00 AM until 6:00 PM. We will schedule your appointment as promptly as possible. Please call us at (503) 244-4837 with any questions or to schedule an appointment.
Your comfort is our highest priority. We will make every effort to see you the same day when a dental emergency arises. Please call our office immediately if you have pain, swelling, or other concerns regarding your teeth and mouth.
For Your Comfort
At Beadnell Family Dentistry, we understand that coming to the dentist can involve an increase in anxiety. There are many ways that we can help you relax while trusting us with your care:
iPods – Feel at ease with a variety of music choices from our selection of iPods.
Neck Pillows – Decrease tension in your neck and shoulders with a comfortable neck pillow.
Blankets – Relax and get cozy under one of our fleece blankets.
Light Oral Sedation – Pre-operative prescriptions for oral medications that cause light sedation are available. Patients are fully awake for the procedures, but the oral sedation medication provides increased comfort and reduces anxiety.
Infection Control – The infection controls that we use protect both staff and patients.
Dr. Beadnell and our entire team follow procedures recommended by several federal agencies: the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). These measures include:
- Disinfectant hand soap
- Gloves and face masks
- Chemical disinfection of countertops and surfaces
- Sterilization of all equipment before every use
- Disposable materials

Patient Billing and Payment Options
At times, patients may not have insurance or payments extend beyond what’s covered by insurance providers. For patients with or without dental insurance, we will finance up to three months if a financial arrangement is set up with our office manager prior to dental treatment.
For your convenience, we accept Visa and MasterCard. Financing through Chase Health Care Advantage is available for patients wishing to lengthen payments beyond three months. In addition, we extend a 10% discount to our senior patients (65+ years of age).
We deliver the finest care at the most reasonable cost to our patients, therefore payment is due at the time service is rendered unless other arrangements have been made in advance with our office manager. If you have questions regarding your account, please contact us at (503) 244-4837.
Please remember you are fully responsible for all fees charged by this office regardless of your insurance coverage.
